Illuminated frost protection

Going to be cold tonight, so to protect our recently planted watermelon and tomato seedlings and peanut seeds, which we planted last Saturday, we are trying Christmas lights under cover.

First garden frost

Going to get below freezing tonight, so we're trying a garden cover (20x30 tarp) for the first time.  We hid the potted plants between the beds for shelter.
